The new wing of the Denver Art Museum officially opens its doors to the public on Oct. 7, but I got a sneak peek last night at a member's preview.
I am pleased to report the new space lives up to the hype. Architect Daniel Libeskind, who is currently working on the redesign of the World Trade Center, definitely delivers for Denver. The modern interior features clean lines and open spaces in his signature geometric forms.
The art museum will be open around the clock starting Sat., Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. through Sun. Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. Admission is free, but timed tickets are required. Call 720-865-5000 for more details.
