Denver's Holiday Lights Sparkle Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday November 22, 2006
The City and County of Denver is firing up the holiday light display at 6:30 p.m. this Friday. Two thousand feet of rope lights drape the granite facade of the City and County building at 1437 Bannock St.

The light display continues until Jan. 1, 2007, and also fires up during the National Western Stock Show, which is in town from Jan. 6 - 21. If you can drag yourself away from the tempting turkey leftovers this weekend, the light display should provide a perfect segue into the official holiday season.
