Denver Ranked #6 Best City to Have Kids

Fit Pregnancy magazine has released their annual survey of best cities for child-rearing, and Denver ranks as the #6 best city in America to have a baby. The Mile High City got high marks for stroller friendliness, access to doctors, and low maternal and infant health risk.

Denver also delivered on the number of public parks and number of midwives relative to the population. Areas for improvement included heavy commuter traffic and lack of affordable housing. Colorado Springs came in right behind Denver at #7, while Boston and San Francisco took the top two spots.
