Colorado Rockies Make it to Playoffs
Tuesday October 2, 2007
For the first time in 12 years, the Colorado Rockies will be in the playoffs. The Rockies rallied to a 9 - 8 win last night against San Diego in a game that went to 13 innings. Clinching the wild card spot, the Rockies' next challenge will be against Philadelphia. In a pleasant change from the usual empty seats at Coors Field, the stadium was packed to capacity with cheering fans. The Rockies return to Denver on Sat. Oct. 6 and Sun. Oct. 7., and tickets are on sale now for both home games. Check out our photo gallery of Coors Field Baseball Stadium if you can't wait until the weekend to see some baseball with altitude!
