New Denver Magazine Launches

The Mile High City welcomes a new publication with the launch of Denver Magazine. Giving local mag 5280 a run for its money, the glossy Denver Magazine features articles on Denver cuisine, fashion and sports. Subscriptions are available for $29.99 per year, or $44.99 for two years. The monthly magazine, founded by Michael Ledwitz and Jay Daignault in 2008, is available on newsstands now.

Don’t bother
Denver Magazine has really proven itself beyond my expectations. When it first launched I thought “Oh great another magazine in Denver that will fold after its first issue”, but month after month they have put out amazing new issues including an exclusive interview with Barack Obama and more recently “The Fray”. Great work Denver Magazine, good to see a “real” magazine in Devnver!!

The January issue of Denver Magazine has Chauncey Billups and Carmelo Antony on the cover. How does a magazine come into the market and unseat the established brand? I am amazed at these guys. I am now a Denver Magazine reader over 5280!
