August Events Include DNC

August events in Denver include Colorado Day, the Rocky Mountain Balloon Festival... oh, and a little shindig called the Democratic National Convention. The convention swoops into town Aug. 25 - 28, 2008 as the Mile High City prepares for its close-up. Obama is not the only headliner at Invesco, however, as the Denver Broncos kick off their pre-season games on Aug. 16 against the Dallas Cowboys.
