Denver Marathon Today

The Denver Marathon kicks off on Broadway in front of Civic Center Park this morning at 7 a.m. Roads will be closed around the State Capitol for six hours to allow runners to finish the 26.2-mile race. The half-marathon and marathon relay race also begin at 7 a.m., followed by a kids' run at 10 a.m. Kudos to all the marathoners out there! I ran a half-marathon once and thought I was going to die, so I respect anyone who can accomplish that feat.
