Colorado Rejects Majority of Ballot Initiatives
Thursday November 6, 2008
Voters just said no to the majority of the amendments on this year's ballot. While votes for Amendment 46 on banning affirmative action are still being counted, all of the other results have been tallied. The two amendments that did pass were: Amendment 50 to increase the minimum bets at casinos, and Amendment 54 to limit campaign contributions from state contractors. Voters approved two out of four referenda on the ballot. Voters approved Referendum M and Referendum N to delete obsolete language from the constitution.
