Congratulations to our U.S. Senator Ken Salazar, who sources say will be the next Secretary of the Interior. President-elect Barack Obama will most likely announce his appointment of Salazar later this week. Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper is also in the running for Transportation Secretary, possibly following in the footsteps of Federico Peña.
