Free Parking Meters This Weekend

In celebration of the Fourth of July holiday, the City & County of Denver will not charge for parking meters. From Friday, July 3 - Sunday, July 5, 2009, all parking meters in Denver will be free. Parking meters are always free on city holidays and Sundays, but the City & County decided to throw in Saturday as well.
I appreciated this tip about the free parking… didn’t know about it. We headed out to the Rockies game and found street parking…. I was the only one who knew about free parking, even on the 3rd… and only knew because I saw it here…. Thanks, Nina!
