Mayor Michael Hancock test drove an electric car from Ford on Monday, and promised incentives for the city to encourage use of the energy-efficient vehicles. Ford will begin selling electric vehicles in 19 test markets, including Denver, across the country next month. The all-electric vehicles require the use of charging stations, and Mayor Hancock pledged to consider incentives for including charging stations in new construction in Denver.
