Dry conditions that have sparked wildfires to the north and south of Denver have led to widespread cancellations of fireworks displays across the metro area. However, there are still a few places to see fireworks in the Mile High City on Wednesday. Elitch Gardens Theme Park and Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City are both going forward with fireworks displays. Civic Center Park will also shoot off fireworks on Tuesday, July 3. Suburbs to the north of Denver such as Brighton, Broomfield and Thornton are also planning to show fireworks.
