While it seems hard to believe fall is around the corner in Denver, Labor Day weekend is almost here. Cross your fingers for some cooler weather to enjoy A Taste of Colorado, the annual food festival in Civic Center Park. The Pointer Sisters (pictured at right) will hold a free concert on Sun. Sept. 2 at the main stage at the festival. Music lovers can also head to the mountains for the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival, which features Mumford and Sons as the headliner. The Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, Colo., also offers fun for the whole family during Labor Day weekend.
