September in Denver brings the festivities of Labor Day weekend at the beginning of the month and -- yes, Oktoberfest at the end of the month. The Denver Broncos kick off their first season with Peyton Manning as quarterback on Sun., Sept. 9 at Sports Authority Field in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Red Rocks also extends its concert season through the end of September this year, with Train and Jason Mraz both performing at the outdoor amphitheater.
