The Blossoms of Light opened at the Denver Botanic Gardens on Friday. The annual holiday tradition features more than 1 million lights, one-third of which are energy-efficiency LEDs this year. Although the weather on Friday was unseasonably warm, the attraction offers hot chocolate and hot cider for viewers along the path for nights with cooler temperatures. The Blossoms of Light will be open nightly through Jan. 1, 2013. Depending on the date, admission is $10 to $12 for adults and $7 to $9 for children.
