Colo. Lottery Hits Sales Record

Although no one from Colorado scored last week's winning ticket for the $550 million Powerball payout, the Colorado Lottery hit a record sales week. From Nov. 25 - Dec. 1, the Colorado Lottery reached a new high of $22 million in sales. According to the Colorado Lottery, an average sales week usually totals around $10 million. On the day of the Powerball drawing, Coloradans purchased $8.38 million in Powerball tickets.
