The Mile High City is one of 12 cities to be named a Solar America City. The Department of Energy will give up to $200,000 to each designated city to help fund efforts to harness solar energy. Denver is joined in this radiant list by Houston, Knoxville, Milwaukee, Minneapolis – St. Paul, Orlando, Philadelphia, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Jose, Santa Rosa and Seattle.
