Nina Snyder is a Denver native who enjoys writing about her fair city. She moved away in 1983, and returned in 1999 to make the Mile High City her permanent home. Snyder lives in southeast Denver with her husband, son and dog. Follow her on Twitter @nsnyder_writer.
Snyder is the author of "Good day, Broncos," a children's picture book available for the Kindle. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and has written e-books for the Tar Heel Reader. "Hercules and the Hydra Monster" and "Penelope's Trick" retell classics of Greek mythology for hi/lo readers. Hi/lo readers are readers with high interest but low readability who do not read at grade level.
Snyder is the owner of PenDragon Press, a writing and editing company based in Denver. Her clients include SmartBrief.com in Washington, D.C., a news aggregator for trade associations. She has also written for local firms such as BrightNest and Patient Fuel.
Snyder received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. She later returned to Denver to obtain her Master in Business Administration and Master in Information Technology at the University of Denver.
