From 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., children in costume can trick or treat for free along the outdoor shopping center of Aspen Grove. A children's costume parade with prizes will also be held, and dogs in costume are welcome as well.

At 2 p.m., children can meet Cerridwen for magical storytelling with plenty of audience participation. The free event will be held at the Children's Pavilion in the Central Branch at 10 W. Fourteenth Ave. Pkwy.

From 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., children and adults can enjoy free admission to the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. The museum will have art projects for kids, face painting and trick-or-treating.

From 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., bring your kids in costume to Old South Gaylord Street in the Washington Park Neighborhood for free trick or treating. The street will be closed to traffic for the trick-or-treaters.

Shriek Manor is a free Halloween display with lights, animatronic creatures and special effects. The full animatronic display will be open 6:30 - 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, 2009.
