July heats up in Denver with Fourth of July events, as well as the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival. The Mile High Music Festival, in its second year, also features headliners such as Tool and The Fray.

Due to the Fourth of July holiday, the Denver Art Museum will not hold its free day on the first Saturday this month. Free days for the Art Museum will resume in August.
