Legend has it that Saint Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland. From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., bring your kids to learn all about serpents and their slithery ways at the zoo. Festival admission is included with regular zoo admission.

Fado is participating in a unique fundraiser this year for the St. Baldrick's Foundations. Volunteers will shave their heads to raise money for childhood cancer. Festivities start at the craic of dawn at 6:30 a.m.

Friday, March 14 at 8 p.m.
Swallow Hill
St. Patrick's Day wouldn't be complete without local band Gobs O'Phun. The local vocal trio performs Irish drinking songs and other ballads. Tickets are $12 for Swallow Hill members and $15 for non-members.
