In 2012, the ticket prices are $2.50 for showings before 6 p.m. and $3.50 for showings after 3 p.m., which can still be a significant discount from regular-price tickets. In 2010, the average price for a movie ticket in the U.S. was $7.89, according to the National Association of Theatre Owners. Elvis Cinemas takes credit cards and cash for tickets.
Elvis Cinemas is one of the few locally-owned theater chains left in Denver. The company is owned and operated by a Colorado firm. Of course, Denver billionaire Phil Anschutz owns a majority stake in Regal Cinemas, which has several theaters in Denver.
The Elvis Cinemas Littleton theater also offers birthday parties for children. In 2012, the cost is $12 per child for a private screening with popcorn and pizza, with a minimum of 12 children. Birthday parties are available on Saturdays only from 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon.
