If you're looking for independent film in the Mile High City, look no further than Landmark Theatres with 14 screens in Denver. The Mayan, Esquire, Greenwood Village and Chez Artiste movie theaters all feature showings of foreign, arthouse and indie films. No student discounts are offered, and discounted prices for matinees only apply to the first showing of the day.

Mayan Theatre:

The Mayan Theatre is located near the corner of 1st Ave. and Broadway. The historic Mayan, constructed in 1930, is one of three remaining theaters in the Art Deco Mayan Revival style.

The Landmark Greenwood Village is the chain's first foray into the suburbs of Denver. The Greenwood Village theater features six screens, stadium seating, and a new marketing twist - popcorn and soda are included in the ticket price. Of course, the ticket price is several dollars higher than the standard ticket, at $12 for adults and $9 for children.
