The Colorado History Museum takes visitors back in time to the Wild West.

Leave the Denver Public Library via the Broadway exit. Turn right from the library and cross Broadway at the light at 13th Ave.

The romance of the Wild West springs to life at the Colorado History Museum. The museum showcases Colorado's earliest settlers of gunslingers, silver miners and fur trappers as well as Native American life on the plains. The History Museum is moving to a new location in March 2010, and has begun dismantling some exhibits.

Hours for the museum are Mon. - Sat. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sun. 12 noon - 5 p.m. Call 303-866-3682 for more information. Admisssion prices are listed below.

Adults: Free until March 28, 2010
Seniors (65+) and Students (with ID): Free until March 28, 2010
Children (6 -12): Free until March 28, 2010
Children (under 6): Free
Colorado Historical Society members: Free
