Parade begins at 27th and Blake Street at 10 a.m.
One of the largest parades west of the Mississippi river, Denver's parade offers entertainment for little leprechauns of all ages. Admission is free, but parking downtown is not. Sponsored by Bellco Credit Union.

2. Irish Snug

The Irish Snug holds its seventh-annual "hooley" to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. An outdoor tent will be set up on the premises for both days. The Snug features Irish food, Irish step dancing and bar service for the hooley.

Fado celebrates St. Paddy's Day with a party on the patio on Friday, which begins at 7 p.m. and features bottomless pints of Stella. Twenty percent of proceeds from food sales on Friday will be donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a nonprofit for cancer research. Fado also will hold The Lost Weekend 2013 on Saturday and Sunday, which will include prize giveaways such as a free trip to Ireland.

Katie Mullens is Denver's latest Irish pub in Denver, replacing the former Supreme Court on the 16th Street Mall in LoDo. The bar is owned by a company based in Carrick-on-Shannon in Ireland for an authentic take on the iconic Irish pub.

Born to Irish immigrants John and Johanna Tobin in 1867, Brown embarked (and disembarked) on the infamous journey of the Titanic in 1912. For $20 per person, visitors can learn about Molly's Irish roots and enjoy a full tea.
