Santa Claus in Denver:
Santa Claus is a pretty busy fellow, but manages to make several pit stops in Denver before Christmas. Even though Santa's home of the North Pole is near sea level, Santa is no stranger to high altitude once he hops in his sleigh. Visit Santa Claus at one of these Denver locations during 2012.
Most locations charge for photos, but Bass Pro Shops and Larimer Square both offer free photos with Santa Claus.
Bass Pro Shops:
Denver's premier outdoor destination offers free photos with Santa Claus from Nov. 11 through Dec. 24, 2012. Free photos are available from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Mon. - Fri. and all day on Sat. and Sun. Beginning Dec. 10, photo hours are extended from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Mon. - Fri. Free crafts are also offered on weekends from 12 noon - 5 p.m. and Mon. - Fri. from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Just don't tell Rudolph that Santa is frequenting the popular store for hunters.

Cherry Creek Mall:
Santa arrives with a flourish on Nov. 9, 2012, at Cherry Creek Mall to visit his Ice Palace and pose for a photo on the Ice Throne. Santa Claus will be on hand for photos during mall hours, except when Santa takes a break for meals. Photo packages range from $21 - $55. On Thurs., Dec. 6, 2012, a Santa who knows sign language will also be available for photos with hearing-impaired children from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Flatiron Crossing:
Santa Claus stops by Flatiron Crossing from Nov. 10 until Dec. 24, 2012 for photos and more. Santa will be in residence from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Mon. - Sat. with a break for meals. On Sundays, Santa will be on hand from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. with a break for meals. Santa will also open an hour early at 9 a.m. on prime shopping days. Photo packages range from $22.99 - $45.99. On Dec. 6, 2012, Santa will pose for photos with well-behaved pets.

Larimer Square:
Whether you've been naughty or nice, Santa wants to hear about it at Larimer Square in downtown Denver. Jolly Old St. Nick will be holding court on weekends in December. He'll be visiting the square Sat. from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sun. from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. every weekend until Christmas Eve. Free admission, and no charge for photos with a personal camera. Dogs are also welcome to jump on Santa's lap for a photo.

Park Meadows Mall:
Santa Claus will visit Park Meadows starting on Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Mon. - Sat. and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sun. Beginning Dec. 15, Santa will chug down an extra cup of coffee and arrive at 9 a.m. from Mon. - Sat. and 10 a.m. on Sun. Photo packages range from $22.99 - $45.99. On Mondays through Dec. 17, Santa will pose for photos with dogs and cats from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
