About Mordecai Children's Garden:
The three-acre garden features a suspension bridge, pond and stream in which children can play. Children can also get a taste of gardening by digging in the dirt at the Digging Area, or filling watering cans at the Home Harvest Garden. The garden is closed during the winter.

Daily: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. starting on March 1
Admission for 2013:
Admission to the Mordecai Children's Garden is included in general admission to the Denver Botanic Gardens.
Denver Botanic Gardens Admission: $12.50 adults, $9.50 seniors, $9 students and youth
Children under two years old are admitted free.
Directions and Address:
From I-25, take the 6th Ave. East exit, then go east on 6th Ave. to Josephine St. Take a left onto Josephine St. and continue for three blocks. Take a left into Denver Botanic Gardens parking garage between 9th and 10th Streets. Please note both 6th Ave. and Josephine St. are one-way streets.
The Mordecai Children's Garden is located on the third floor of the parking garage, and is accessible by elevator or stairs from the parking garage.

Don't Miss It:
- Every Thursday from 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Stories in Action features a children's book connected to nature. All ages are welcome, but designed for children ages 3 to 8.
- Every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Sensory Sensations offers children the chance to experience nature through the five senses. Designed for children from 12 to 24 months.
- Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Exploration Station offers hands-on activities for children. All ages are welcome, but designed for children ages 3 to 8.
