Cost: $30 in advance, $35 day of race
Work up a sweat with dear old dad at the Father's Day 5K along the Ralston Creek Trail. A 1-mile fun run/walk is also scheduled for armchair athletes. Proceeds benefit the non-profit Apex Park and Recreation District Foundation, which has designated the funds for after-school recreation programs at Arvada middle schools.
2. Rockies vs. Phillies

Take Dad out the ballgame, and buy him some peanuts and cracker jacks for good measure. The Colorado Rockies play the Philadelphia Phillies in the third game of a three-game series. If your dad prefers mellowing out with jazz instead of rooting for the Rockies, pack a picnic dinner and head to City Park jazz. Tribute to Neil Bridge performs a free concert in the park for dads and other jazz fans.
4. Denver Public Golf Courses

5. Father's Day Restaurant Specials
Several Denver restaurants are offering special promotions for Father's Day. Morton's The Steakhouse in LoDo offers a steak prix fixe dinner for $69, while Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse offers lunch for $38.50 and dinner for $46.50.
