Recycle Computers and Electronics in Denver

By , About.com Guide

Prevent E-Waste:

Recycling computers and electronic equipment in Denver can be done with a small dose of determination. Most recycling centers are located in industrial areas of the metro area and charge a small fee for services. Many recycling centers are open on Saturdays, and offer pickup of equipment for an additional fee.

Recycling computer equipment benefits the environment because e-waste contains hazardous materials such as lead, mercury and other heavy metals. Recycling old PCs rather than throwing them away can also protect against identity theft because recycling centers can destroy the data on the hard drives.
