Ring in 2014 with Mile High style at one of these 10 Denver nightclubs on Tues. Dec. 31, 2013. Some bars do not charge a cover, but most require advance tickets or bottle service reservations. Clubs and events are listed in alphabetical order. For a quick rundown of Denver nightlife lingo, LoDo stands for Lower Downtown and SoCo stands for South of Colfax.

1. Beta

The trendy LoDo nightclub serves up a New Year's Eve party with music by Klutch Beat. Doors open at 9 p.m. at the multilevel club which features a skybar, nightclub and lounge. Tickets are $10 in advance for the 18-and-up nightclub at 1909 Blake St.

2. The Church

Dance the night away at on New Year's Eve at the Church located in the SoCo nightlife district. Tickets are $30 for individuals or $50 for couples at the 21-and-up nightclub. Doors open at 9 p.m. at the nightclub located in a converted church at 1160 Lincoln St.

3. The Drink, Tryst Lounge and LaMark15

Tryst Lounge features an intimate setting at 1320 15th St. on Larimer Square for its New Year's Eve party, and joins forces this year with The Drink and LaMark15. Tickets for all three 21-and-up nightclubs are $30, and tickets include a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Bottle service is also available for an additional fee.

4. Ginn Mill

The Ginn Mill offers a casual option for New Year's Eve at 2041 Larimer St., with no cover charge, no dress code and no reservations accepted. The 21-and-up LoDo bar does have mixed drink and beer specials all night to keep the atmosphere festive.

5. NYE Black Tie Party

Break out the tux and tails for Denver's swankiest New Year's Eve party, which encourages black tie attire. The 21-and-up event will be held at the Sherman Street Event Center at 1770 Sherman St. in downtown Denver. VIP tickets are $90 in advance and ULTRA VIP tickets are $119. Both tickets include an open bar.

6. NYE Decadence

Pretty Lights and other bands will serenade Denver revelers at the Colorado Convention Center at 700 14th St. on New Year's Eve. The 18-and-up celebration is billed as the largest indoor global music festival. Tickets start at $75 and VIP tickets are $200. The festival also occurs on Dec. 30, and two-day passes start at $140.

7. Once Upon a Time Ball

Once upon a time, Denver's first skyscraper towered above the 16th Street Mall. In 2013, the D&F Tower will host the Once Upon a Time Ball, which features 360-degree views of the Mile High City. Tickets for the ball at 1601 Arapahoe St. are $175, which includes a buffet and open bar.

8. Passport New Year's Eve

Chloe and Suite 200 are joining forces for a sophisticated scene on New Year's Eve. One passport ticket gets revelers into both Larimer Square nightclubs. Chloe at 1445 Market St. will be transformed into a Moroccan paradise with Midnight over Marrakech, while Suite 200 at 1427 Larimer St. will feature a Japanese journey with Memoirs of a Geisha. General admission tickets are $60 and VIP tickets are $100. Single-club tickets are also available.

9. ViewHouse

The ViewHouse offers a rooftop bar to view the Mile High City, and the newly-minted hotspot at 2015 Market St. in LoDo is ready to celebrate its first New Year's Eve. The eatery is offering a four-course meal for $30 with timed seating, or a $50 ticket for open bar. Cover charge starts at $20 for entry only.

10. White Rose Gala

The 12th-annual White Rose Gala at the Hyatt DTC in Greenwood Village takes over the suburbs in style. Tickets start at $59 for the 21-and-up gala at the hotel located at 7800 E. Tufts Ave. The theme for the White Rose Gala this year is the Great Gatsby/Roaring 20s.
