Top 5 Gluten-Free Restaurants in Denver

Give up Gluten without Giving up Taste

A gluten-free diet offers many health benefits, but dining out can present a challenge. Give up gluten without giving up taste at one of these Denver restaurants which offer gluten-free items on the menu.

Gluten is a protein found in wheat and other grains, and people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity must avoid gluten. However, some people also are turning to gluten-free diets to lose weight and cut back on carbs.

1. True Food Kitchen

True Food Kitchen opened in 2012 in Cherry Creek, and already has become a staple for health-conscious foodies. The restaurant, based on Dr. Andrew Weil’s anti-inflammatory diet, offers gluten-free pizza, salads and entrees. Vegan and vegetarian items are also available at the restaurant in Cherry Creek North. Beware of sticker shock for drinks, however. A pot of chamomile tea runs $5 while organic sodas are $4.
