Hit the greens this summer at one of eight public golf courses in Denver. Tee times are available from sunrise to sunset. To make a reservation at any of the golf courses listed below, call 720-865-GOLF, or reserve a tee time online.

 

  • Aqua Golf
    Location: 501 W. Florida Ave.
    Course: 18-hole miniature golf course, aqua driving range
    2014 Fees: $8 for miniature golf, $6 for a bucket of 50 balls
    Amenities: miniature golf, aqua driving range, clubhouse
    The newly-remodeled Aqua Golf features a 18-hole miniature golf course and updated aqua driving range.

     

  • City Park Golf Course
    Location: 2500 York St.
    Course: 18-hole regulation
    2014 Fees: $26 - $35
    Amenities: driving range, pro shop, restaurant
    City Park's golf course is located at the north end of the park, just past the Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

     

  • Evergreen Executive Golf Course
    Location: 29614 Upper Bear Creek Rd.
    Course: 18-hole executive
    2014 Fees: $22 - $32 ($14 - $16 for 9-hole course)
    Amenities: pro shop, restaurant.
    Evergreen is located 30 minutes outside of Denver, and features views of Evergreen Lake. The clubhouse opened in 1925.

     

  • Harvard Gulch Golf Course
    Location: 660 Iliff Ave.
    Course: 9-hole par three
    2014 Fees: $8
    Harvard Gulch Golf Course is located in South Denver. The par three course makes a good course for kids and beginning golfers.

     

  • Kennedy Golf Course
    Location: 10500 E. Hampden Ave.
    Courses: 27-hole regulation and 9-hole par three
    2014 Fees: $26 - $35 ($11 for 9-hole course)
    Amenities: driving range, miniature golf, pro shop, restaurant
    The course's official name is John F. Kennedy Golf Course, but most people refer to it as Kennedy. The course follows Cherry Creek for several holes.

     

  • Overland Golf Course
    Location: 1801 S. Huron St.
    Course: 18-hole regulation
    2014 Fees: $26 - $35
    Amenities: driving range, pro shop, restaurant
    Located on the site of the original Denver Country Club, the historic course features narrow fairways.

     

  • Wellshire Golf Course
    Location: 3333 S. Colorado Blvd.
    Course: 18-hole regulation
    2014 Fees: $26 - $35
    Amenities: pro shop, two restaurants
    Designed by Donald Ross in 1926, Wellshire Golf Course features mature trees and a traditional layout.

     

  • Willis Case Golf Course
    Location: 4999 Vrain St.
    Course: 18-hole regulation
    2014 Fees: $26 - $35
    Amenities: pro shop, restaurant
    Northwest Denver's only golf course features views of the Rocky Mountains.

Senior golfers (over age 62) and junior golfers (under age 17) receive discounts from Monday - Friday before 11 a.m. during the summer. Aqua Golf, City Park, Kennedy, Wellshire and Willis Case also offer golf lessons. Lessons start at $50 per 30 minutes at Aqua Golf, and $60 per 30 minutes for the other golf courses.
