Invesco Field stadium opened in 1999, replacing the old Mile High stadium in the same location. The home of the Denver Broncos, the stadium seats 76,125 fans. Many fans still refer to the stadium as Mile High. Invesco bowed to popular sentiment for the old venue, and the full name of the stadium is Invesco Field at Mile High.
The Denver Broncos, part of the AFC, have a rabid following in the Mile High City. Many of the games sell out, and season tickets are worth their weight in gold. The best bet for getting tickets is to buy them as early in the season as possible.
Invesco Field at Mile High is located at the intersection of I-25 and Colfax Ave. From I-25 north, exit on 17th Ave. From I-25 south, exit on Colfax Ave. The stadium stands alone as an attraction, and there are not many bars and restaurants in the area of Invesco Field.
