1. Sports Column

The Sports Column, located blocks from Coors Field in LoDo, is the official bar of the Colorado Rockies. The Sports Column also shows college football games, NCAA basketball and other sporting events in Denver. Open from 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. daily, the bar also serves pub fare such as chicken wings, nachos and burgers. The only downside to the Sports Column is the lack of parking.

2. Chopper's Sports Grill

Chopper's, located in Cherry Creek, features more than 40 televisions to show your favorite team in action. The one advantage that Chopper's has over downtown bars is their very own parking lot. Chopper's is open 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. daily, with last call at 1:45 a.m. Arrive early on game days as reservations are not accepted.

3. Jackson's Denver

Jackson's Denver is also within home-run distance of Coors Field. Rockies fans gather at Jackson's for its 70 televisions and u-call-it specials. Jackson's also features a large outdoor patio for summertime games. Jackson's is open Mon. - Thurs. from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m., Fri. from 11 a.m. - 2 a.m., and Sat. and Sun. from 10 a.m. - 2 a.m.

4. Brooklyn's Denver

Located steps away from the Pepsi Center, Brooklyn's Denver is the place to be for Nuggets or Avs games. Brooklyn's features two floors and an outdoor patio. The bar, open 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. daily, also broadcasts all NHL and NFL games, but tends to be empty when there's not a game showing. Reservations are accepted.

Happy hour is offered daily from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at this Denver institution since 1976. Limited parking available in a lot behind the bar.
